This week has proven to be very busy in the practice! The launch of the new website on Tuesday morning has been one of the highlights, with special thanks to all those who have been helping to put this together. Please feel free to email or contact the practice if you have any comments or suggestions.
It is great to be able to provide patients with as much information as possible. I am indebted to my breast reduction patient who has been kind enough to write such a personal and honest account of her experience. This will be added to in time, as she continues along the recovery process.
I have also been busy recently on the reconstructive side, with a bilateral DIEP breast reconstruction last Thursday, and another unilateral one this week. It is great to have the two sides to my practice (reconstructive and aesthetic) and the skills and techniques from one side can be transferred to the other in many ways.
I am planning on going to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon’s biennial meeting in Geneva in September – there is a fantastic line-up of international speakers. It will also be a great chance to catch up with colleagues from abroad!
